Everything you need to play ANSEM VERSE - the browser MMO where you raise a bull, grind skills, hunt world bosses, and earn from a real $ANSEM economy. Charge forward no matter what. The tables below are generated straight from the live game, so they're always current.
ANSEM VERSE is a community fan project built on the lore of the $ANSEM "The Black Bull" token. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Ansem.
ANSEM VERSE is play-to-earn, and the rule that makes it work is simple: the game never prints $ANSEM. Every coin you earn comes from another player buying what you grinded or won - so the rarer the thing you hold, the more it's worth. Here's the ladder, from your first hour to the top of the leaderboard.
The Bear Den is an endless survival gauntlet: each wave is harder than the last, the same for everyone, until it's basically impossible. How deep you charge is your score - better gear and skill take you further, which is the whole reward.
Whales can buy Bullion, Trial Sigils, and top gear straight off the Marketplace with $ANSEM - which is exactly what funds the grinders' sell-side. Both sides win: the shrimp earns by selling, the whale saves time by buying. That's the loop.
Every $ANSEM you earn comes from a real buyer, never a faucet. Scarcity - boss-only legendaries, supply-capped best-in-slot, finite drops - is what keeps your earnings worth something.
The latest changes to ANSEM VERSE - newest first. Jump in and try them.
Combat has four styles mapping to three damage types:
Every monster fears one type (+30% damage) and shrugs off another (−20%) - check the Bestiary for each one's weakness. It's a soft nudge, not a hard gate, so switching styles is worth it but you can still win off-style.
Bosses punish the triangle harder - +40% into their weakness, −30% off their resisted type - and they ROTATE their weakness every few seconds, so you have to switch stances mid-fight to keep the edge. On a boss the triangle is a live skill check, not a one-time choice.
Your bull is born with a discipline: fang (melee), quill (ranged) or spark (magic) - it amplifies the matching style. Power comes from your Combat/Magic level + your bull's level, never from rarity (no pay-to-win).
There are 11 skills, each maxing at level 99. The XP curve starts gentle and turns into a real grind near the top.

Bosses hold fixed lairs at the heart of their realm, are announced world-wide, and drop the headline loot. Legendary mounts drop ONLY from world bosses (~1%, long respawns = weeks of chasing) - that scarcity is what makes them worth real $ANSEM on the market.

The Bear Den is ANSEM VERSE's endgame: an endless wave-survival gauntlet - the bear market itself, den after den of them. Each wave is harder than the last - the SAME ramp for everyone - until it's basically impossible. How deep can you charge? That's your score. Unlock it at Combat 40 (📋 Menu → Bear Den).
Every mini-boss can drop a Bear Den unique - the best gear in the game, all supply-capped (only a few exist in the world, ever), so they hold real $ANSEM value on the Marketplace. Drop rates are low and climb the deeper you push. Caps: Maw Cleaver ×5 · Maw Warplate ×5 · Maw Longbow ×5 · Maw Scepter ×5 · Aurora Staff ×15 · Warden's Blade ×3.
Burn a 🪬 Trial Sigil (crafted from Bullion) to enter the current round, then post your best SOLO run. At round close, an owner-funded $ANSEM prize (about $30 a round) is split by score across every qualifier - a shrimp who scrapes in earns a slice, the deepest survivor earns the most, capped at 25% per wallet so no one vacuums it. Win by skill, not spend: more sigils buy more attempts, never a bigger share.
The instanced Bear Den is safe - nothing drops if you fall there. The ☠ Murkwild is NOT: a wilderness death drops items you CARRY. Bank your deeds, gear and mounts at the Watering Hole Bank first - banked items (and banked HORNS) are always safe.
Every monster, its combat-triangle weakness, and its full drop table with drop chances.
Weapons, armor, and bull charms. Buy the ladder from the Cattle Trader for HORNS (level-gated), get drops from monsters, or forge it at Emberpeak. The best gear drops from world bosses.

Mounts are pure flex - every mount gives the same modest speed boost, so rarity is looks only. Commons are buyable; legendaries are world-boss only. Mounts are bound to you and can't be traded - the one exception is the scarce, supply-capped Bullion perk-mounts (Fortune / Prospector / Scholar Steed), which carry a grind perk and are the only mounts that trade on the Marketplace.

Bullion is the crafted backbone good - a bottomless material sink and "the gold". No skill or realm gate: the deep material cost is the gate, so the on-ramp stays open to everyone.
Each bar also grants +120 Construction XP.
The Traveling Merchant visits ~every 90 min and stays 10 min. It never buys Bullion for HORNS - Bullion is gold, not pocket change.
Two currencies, on purpose:
common 43.48% · uncommon 31% · rare 19% · epic 6% · legendary 0.5% · mythic 0.02% (bulls are cosmetic collectibles - rarity never grants combat power).

The Penthouse is a finite, numbered, tradeable Deed - earned (Manor + Construction) then bought, or resold player-to-player. The scarcest prestige asset in the game.
The world is fully open - there are no hard level gates. Each realm has a recommended level (shown below); you can walk in under-levelled, but the tougher realms - and the PvP zones, where dying drops your loot - will punish it.
